Transcribe audio file to text

Accepts a WAV audio file and returns transcription with segments and timing information. Requires a valid X-API-Key header. Usage is billed in audio-minutes — see the Transcription line item on your plan.

Parameters:

  • file: Audio file in WAV format (required)
  • language: Language code (default: "ht" for Haitian Creole)
  • detect_voice: Enable voice activity detection (default: true)

Returns:

  • Transcription text
  • Segments with timestamps
  • Audio duration and processing time
  • Request ID for tracking
